AS Level & A Level Achievement 2020-2021
The announcement of our students’ AS-Level results in March 2021 has once again enhanced our School’s reputation as a leading Mathematics and Science institution. With the dedication of our qualified teachers, who continue to work diligently with our students, we were able to see success beyond their imagination.
Amongst these phenomenal successes, we have one student who attained the highest possible score, achieving a 100% in AS-Physics, alongside the remainder who all achieved spectacular results in the high nineties. These include exemplary scores in AS-Chemistry with 2 students achieving 95%, plus AS-Maths scores of 94%, 92%, 89%, 87%, and 82%, as well as a very respectful 96% and 94% in AS-Physics plus two results at 88% for AS- Biology.
During the recent October 2020 examinations, our students were able to achieve perfect scores in seven modular examinations for their science entries, and by January 2021 they also achieved six perfect scores in their next science entries. These extraordinary achievements across the cohort have contributed to our AS-Level success.
St. Mark's is a Tri-lingual School of Mathematics and Science. Our comprehensive Maths and Science program and qualified teaching staff have helped build confidence in learners to achieve in these subject areas. As a school, we work together to ensure that every student are cared for. For our students to achieve such a remarkable accomplishments, these stem from the collaborous work of our dedicated teaching staff and the approach we manage and monitor our students' progress and learning. A conducive work environment where every staff works collaborously together to achieve a common goal is the key to our success. We strive to create an environment which support our students' learning and aim for the higest possible outcome, where each student understand what it takes to achieve a superior grade. When we have a combination of good resources coming together, these ultimately lead to success.

St. Mark’s is a great school with many classes to learn from like Chinese which makes us a lot smarter. I also like that there are classes like Technology, Arts, and Anklong because they teach very interesting things. I like that we are able to join different competitions and get medals and certificates for trying and winning and it also teaches us to be brave and try to get out of our comfort zones and try something new.

Participation in these activities has made me become more confident. Teachers here are experts in their fields and are entertaining, making learning very enjoyable. They are very approachable and often would help us whenever we have a need. The school guides me to achieve my academic goals and become a better person.

St. Mark's class size was one of the reasons I like this school. I was able to connect well with my classmates and teachers, who have inspired me to love learning, especially in Maths and Chemistry. St. Mark's has given me the opportunity to interact with students from different countries, which has helped to improve my English.
