The Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level Certificates are the world’s most popular international qualification for 14 to 18-year-olds, attracting over one million entries from 144 different countries every year.
St. Mark’s International School has been preparing students for the Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) and Advanced Level (A-Level) since the inception of our secondary program back in August 2015. With fully qualified teachers who are experts in their fields, our students have excelled in all of the subjects they undertook and this is reflected in the exceptional results achieved by them.
It is our pleasure to announce the Outstanding Cambridge Learner Award winner for June 2019 from our school. Cambridge International Education has acknowledged our student (Kyu) on his remarkable achievement, receiving the ‘Top in Thailand’ award for June 2019 IGCSE Physics, despite sitting the exam a year earlier than other students. In October 2020, Kyu also received the “High Achievement Award - Cambridge Outstanding Learners” for October 2020 IGCSE Chemistry.
The recently released results from 2019 to 2020 not only showcase exceptional individual performances by our students but also demonstrate excellent overall results across the entire cohort. A group of our top performing students have attained record-high scores on their results, achieving a magnificent 99% for Maths, 98% for Physics, 97% for Chemistry, 96% for Biology and Mandarin. These are just some of the exceptional results which is a reflection of the high standard of education we provide here at St. Mark's.
During all examination seasons, St. Mark's students have achieved an A* and an A on the following subjects: Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Business Studies and Mandarin.
Statistically between 2017-2020, our students have achieved the following:
• 30% of all students’ examination entries received an A*
• 70% of all students’ examination entries received an A* or an A
• 97% of all students’ examination entries received a C grade or higher
These results are special to us in a number of ways. Firstly, most of our students took the IGCSE exams at least one or two years earlier than students in other schools.
Secondly, they have achieved these splendid results without the assistance from any external tutors or support.
Our manageable class size, coupled with the dedication from our well-qualified teachers, has enabled us to focus on providing a quality program, specifically in the area of Mathematics, Science and the Languages (English, Mandarin, Thai).
We nurture each individual student according to their needs, whether it be academic or personal growth. The support we provide has made it possible for even average students to blossom and achieve.

What others are saying
St. Mark’s is a great school with many classes to learn from like Chinese which makes us a lot smarter. I also like that there are classes like Technology, Arts, and Anklong because they teach very interesting things. I like that we are able to join different competitions and get medals and certificates for trying and winning and it also teaches us to be brave and try to get out of our comfort zones and try something new.

Participation in these activities has made me become more confident. Teachers here are experts in their fields and are entertaining, making learning very enjoyable.
